A bit more about me.

I’ve carved out a special corner of my life—and built a DIY design and screen printing studio to fill it. For almost a decade I have been solving design problems for bands, businesses, publications and assorted clients. During that time I’ve also created a huge catalog of screen-printed badassery for all to enjoy. During the day I am an art director at a major CD/DVD manufacturer, and the rest of the time I’m engrossed with this, my visual obsession.

The screen printing process informs much of what I do. I have a deep appreciation for hand-crafted aesthetics. I went to school to be a painter and print maker, which informs my work and process with focused critical and aesthetic values, DIY know-how and intuition, and respect for art and design history.

But it’s not all work and furrowed brows around here. I’m a two-time Pabst Blue Ribbon Philadelphia Rock Paper Scissors City League Champion, which has scored me $2000 in giant checks, a nice trophy, and the best damn dog I’ve ever met. Largemammal has allowed me to stay up too late on school nights, operate a power washer indoors, eat an ungodly amount of BBQ in Austin TX, consider how to apply graphics to the bottom of a filled swimming pool, purchase a really nice engagement ring, and work with a whole bunch of fun, talented and interesting people.
